Fuyuko Matsui is specializing in Nihonga painting, which is japanese-style drawings over a 1000 years old. The techniques used in Nihonga paintings are washing and layering pigments like, corals, minerals and stones, which are being grounded into fine textures. Nikawa is used as a glue to bind the pigments.
Fuyuko is not only insanely pretty, but also holds a doctorate degree in Japanese Paintng, from Tokyo University of Fine Arts.
